I finally had some more time recently to look into procedural modeling in Houdini. I wanted to do that for a long time as it is so powerful and a great skill for a Generalist to have. The tutorials on Gametutor and the sidefx website were very helpful.
This is a chair tool I have been playing with to test my understanding of procedural modeling and digital assets. One chair that has many parameters I can modify to change the look. I feel that I am at a point where I can take the next step and apply what I have learned to a scene that I have planned.
This is a building asset I made with help of the sidefx tutorials. My first digital asset ever. Though I did not finish it, I believe I have enough of an understanding to start creating buildings that have an infinite number of variations.
